| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | [EN] By definition, intensive farming is a type of farming that seeks to maximize production and minimize costs through artificial conditions. These types of farms can be found almost in any geographical area of Spain and the world. One of the most controversial problems that they present, regardless of the type of cattle handled, is the enviromental impact in the area where it is located. This environmental impact is mainly due to the large amount of organic waste it generates and its treatment. Robotnik Automation participates in a project that aims to automate part of the process of collecting this waste by using an autonomous mobile robot in pig farms. These types of farms are designed with a two-story structure. On the upper floor live the cattle, while the lower one is designed to collect urine and animal feces. In this way, it is intended to guarantee a healthier environment for animals, as well as facilitating the tasks of collecting and cleaning excrement. The objective of the robotic system is to carry out these tasks of collection and disposal of excrements deposited on the lower floor. Currently the construction and programming of the robot are under development. The objective of this master's thesis is to develop a simulation model of the farm and the cleaning robot with all its functionalities (shovels management, vacuum motor activation, LiDAR sensors, cameras and movement system). All this with the intention of providing an environment that facilitates carrying out tests of the robot and that allows minimizing the number of hours invested when the robot has to be deployed in the real environment. | es_ES |
