| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | [EN] Black truffle has a great importance since ancient times due to its organoleptic characteristics. Until the twentieth century it could only be found in wild truffieres. A variety of factors caused a drastic loss of these wild truffieres. In order to meet the demand, truffle plantations began to be established in agricultural areas with plants artificially inoculated with the fungus. This crop involves a pre-production period of about from 5 to 10 years where we see the plant grow, but we do not know if the truffle grows at the same pace. In the village of Villamalefa Castle (province of Castellón, Spain), the owner of a plantation established during the years 2010-2021 was interested in knowing the degree of mycorrhization of Tuber melanosporum Vittad. in the plantations that had not started to produce truffles. To meet the objectives, an inventory of vegetation present on the farm was carried out and the methodology used by professional mycorrhiza analysts was applied. A sampling methodology was adopted and 24 samples were extracted and analyzed under professional microscopes. Using a stereomicroscope and un upright microscope, the species present in each sample were identified and the percentages of Tuber melanosporum and contaminant mycorrhiza were calculated. The results showed the persistence of black truffle mycorrhiza in all the samples. Furthermore, the nursery batches and the different plantation areas to which each sample belonged were compared. These comparisons showed the importance of nursery plant quality and the greater tendency of plantation areas to be contaminated. Regarding the inventory, a list of herbaceous, shrub and tree species was made | es_ES |
