dc.description.abstract [EN] An important part of lexical collocations in languages, and specifically in Spanish, are metaphorical. In this article we propose that attention to figurative meaning and organization through underlying conceptual metaphors can enhance learners' awareness of collocations, while also contributing to the learning of these types of combinations and, by extension, of other units with metaphorical meaning. On the other hand, like any work that focuses on linguistic metaphors, it promotes in the development of metaphorical competence and knowledge of the metaphorical conceptual system of the target language. es_ES
