DISPAROS DE LUZTRABAJO PRÁCTICO-INSTALATIVO BASADO EN EL ESTALLIDO SOCIAL DE CHILE DEL 2019

Abstract

[ES] A lo largo de la historia son numerosos los conflictos sociales que han surgido por diversas razones de desigualdad, luchas de poder, diferencias ideológicas, discriminación, etc. El presente Trabajo de Fin de Grado, es el conjunto de materiales, ideas, sentimientos e incertidumbres que se han generado en estos últimos años de carrera universitaria y vida fuera de mi país, Chile. El conflicto y Estallido Social ocurrido el 2019 marcan la pauta de inicio para la creación de una instalación en la que se transitan diferentes temas de orden político y social, llevados a la materialidad artística. Disparos de Luz es una manifestación en contra del estado corrupto y violador, donde su mejor arma es disparar a los ojos de las disidentes; esta violencia no solo genera un trauma ocular, es una anulación de nuestro Ser, de nuestra Libre expresión. Con este proyecto buscamos evidenciar un juego de poderes, en el que el arte y la creación se ponen al servicio para exhibir la problemática social, creando un diálogo entre el abuso de poder y la resistencia, la visión y la ceguera, lo visible y lo que queda oculto, explorando la práctica artística como herramienta de visibilización del conflicto y de resistencia frente a la violencia de Estado.

[EN] Throughout history there have been numerous social conflicts that have arisen for various reasons of inequality, power struggles, ideological differences, discrimination, etc. This Final Degree Project is a collection of materials, ideas, feelings and uncertainties that have been generated in the last few years of my university career and life outside my country, Chile. The conflict and Social Outbreak that occurred in 2019 set the starting point for the creation of an installation in which different political and social themes are transited, taken to artistic materiality. Disparos de Luz is a manifestation against the corrupt and violating state, where its best weapon is to shoot at the eyes of the dissidents; this violence not only generates an ocular trauma, it is an annulment of our Being, of our Free expression. With this project we seek to demonstrate a power game, in which art and creation are put at the service of exhibiting social problems, creating a dialogue between the abuse of power and resistance, vision and blindness, what is visible and what is hidden, exploring artistic practice as a tool for making the conflict visible and for resistance in the face of state violence.
