dc.description.abstract [EN] The current environment cannot be understood without attention to new information and communication technologies, and especially to the development of social networks. The latter are vital to understand all communication processes, and especially their uses are very relevant for the learning of the new generations. This paper emphasizes the potential of using the social network TikTok in education. The paper observes the peculiarities of TikTok as a social network. In addition, it analyses some possible uses and benefits of this platform in education, in aspects related to the improvement of teachers' and students' learning (both inside and outside the classroom), and its effects especially on the improvement of students' motivation and learning, and in the change of educational paradigm towards Co-learning, Co-creation, or teaching through visual material. The paper also provides limitations of their use, and ideas of their practical application. The paper also provides insights into its practical application. es_ES
