| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | [EN] The Unfolding Confusion research project combines theoretical and practical research into the visual image recognition systems of artificial intelligence using portrait photographs. The phenomenon of recognizing objects and people is explained with the help of a precise analysis of how the algorithms and their data sets work. This is then compared with human perception mechanisms. The cultural, scientific and historical role of twins is then used to demonstrate that their special characteristics make them particularly suitable for use as a testing paradigm for artificial intelligence. Hartmut Winkler's concept of similarity is used to examine how the perception of twins by AI and the human eye differs. Based on these findings, an audiovisual video essay is developed, which finds a new, creative approach to the topic of artificial intelligence in a symbiosis of autobiographical elements and application scenarios of artificial intelligence. | es_ES |
