Análisis mediante abrasímetro lineal de la resistencia de pinturas murales al seco arrancadas y consolidadas por el reverso con resinas epoxi

Abstract

El objetivo principal de esta investigación consiste en el análisis mediante abrasímetro lineal de pinturas murales a seco arrancadas y consolidadas por el reverso con resinas epoxídicas, con el fin de determinar la resistencia de estas pinturas al ser consolidadas con resinas en sustitución del método tradicional de consolidación del reverso con caseinato cálcico. A su vez, poder extraer conclusiones sobre qué tipo de composito de resina epoxídica ¿ carga de las utilizadas en la consolidación, puede aglutinar con mayor fuerza el pigmento que constituye la obra en cada tipo de técnica al seco. Una vez realizadas todas las pruebas de laboratorio pertinentes, en base a las conclusiones extraídas, se aplica el composito de resina epoxídica más carga que resulte más adecuado para consolidar el reverso de una pintura mural al seco arrancada del Palacio de la Duquesa de Almodóvar, de Ontinyent.

The main purpose of this investigation is the analysis by the means of straight edge abrasion testing of secco mural paintings torn off and consolidated on the reverse side with epoxy resin. The aim is to determine the resistance of these paintings when consolidated with resins instead of the traditional method of consolidation on the reverse side with calcium caseinate. Conclusions could be made about what type of epoxy resin composition - including those used for consolidation, could be bound with the pigment used in each type of secco technique. Once all the pertinent laboratory tests are carried out on the basis of the conclusions made, the highest concentrated proxy composition is applied as it turns out to be the most suitable for the consolidation of the secco mural painting¿s reverse side, taken from the Palacio de la Duquesa of Almodóvar, at Ontinyent.
