dc.description.abstract [EN] The following thesis studies the performance of combined domestic hot water and space heating and cooling systems driven by district or solar heating and evaluates the energetic savings of using a small scale absorption chiller to produce cold in the household. In order to carry out this energetic performance analysis, a reference system composed of a compression chiller and space heating and DHW driven by district heating is also simulated. The different configurations are modeled using Trnsys software and the simulations are performed for a week in summer and a week in winter in Berlin. Weeks selected are the same as those chosen by Ciaran Cormac O'Reilly in a previous thesis about the same system using Modelica modeling language. The aim is comparing the results of performance figures between both models and detects possible errors. Finally it performed a whole year simulation for each configuration taking advantage of the higher simulation speed of Trnsys software. This work has served to verify the possibility of modeling this combined system with Trnsys obtaining similar results of those obtained using Modelica. On the other hand, the resulting analysis has shown that a system can be deemed unprofitable when not well dimensioned and that pressure and heat losses in the circuits are an important issue which is necessary to consider and evaluate. es_ES
