Abstract

Cuatro miradas al mundo vegetal, recoge las ideas y conclusiones de un proceso de indagación artística a través del cual se emprenden propuestas que abordan cuestiones de un marco teórico centrado en la crítica del concepto de paisaje entendido como un concepto de construcción social, es decir, un paisaje que se transforma para convertirse en un objeto cultural producto de una sociedad humana que paulatinamente y desde un punto de vista histórico modifica el territorio para adaptarlo a la satisfacción de sus necesidades. La ruptura del hombre con el medio natural, el deterioro de la naturaleza y, por tanto, del planeta, debido a una mercantilización y cuantificación de la naturaleza, ha desembocado en un momento de crisis ecológica que exige un cambio de cosmovisión. El arte, la práctica artística y el uso de metáforas, a través de un lenguaje artístico vinculado a la estética como medio de acercamiento entre hombre y naturaleza, pueden constituir una herramienta eficaz de para la sensibilización y educación de los ciudadanos de las grandes ciudades con el objetivo de incrementar el respeto hacia la naturaleza. La empatía es, por defecto, un modo fructífero de mantenernos en una relación ética con la Naturaleza. Por ello, es a través de una mirada amplificada de la periferia vegetal, mi modo de mostrar lo bello, lo cercano, lo latente, lo sutil y lo efímero, del mundo vegetal más pequeño y desapercibido que pasamos por alto a diario. Therefore, it is through an amplified view of the plant periphery, my way of showing the beautiful, the near, the latent, subtle and ephemeral, the plant world smaller and unnoticed that we overlook every day.
