dc.description.abstract | [EN] The need to meet the energy demand of the world through alternative energy sources (solar, wind, biomass, etc) due to of the reduction of conventional sources (oil, coal, etc) can lead to the reconstruction of the power plant network. In this new energy mix, different types of power plants are to be incorporated, and the coverage of electricity and heat demand must always be secure at minimal cost, even in special cases or peak loads situations. In addition, climate objectives of the Federal Government must be considered. Hence, in this work, concepts are developed in which an optimal distribution of electricity and heat generation from each plant to meet demand can be car-ried out. To accomplish this, cost correlations that take into account both fixed costs of equipment and operating costs are developed. Due to the lack of opportunities for validation, scenarios based on the calculated cost are analyzed using an optimization algorithm to confirm the validity of the model implemented. Cash flow diagrams are created with the aim of determining the profitability of investments and comparing that of the different power plants. | es_ES |
