[EN] The problems related to unfavorable ergonomic environments become more important in the building sector. This implies an increase in the development of diseases of the musculoskeletal system; as a result of skeletal muscle disorders (MSDs).
The variety of tasks performed by buildiong workers are primarily associated with ergonomic hazards which generates output of accidents involving greater proportion compared to other risks that these workers face. Thus it is important to identify ergonomic risks involved in tasks that preventive measures are carried out, whether these contingencies are contemplated in the plans of health and safety and whether the proper management of this preventive measures pose to to eliminate or reduce the impact of these risks.
In this Master's Thesis we have identified the main ergonomic hazards in building and they have been clasified by type of job and task, what are the existing methods for assessing these risks by physical load as cargo handling, painful positions, static efforts and repetitive movements. Similarly to describe the remedial measures, by type of position and finally analyzed whether the proposals in the plans of health and safety are properly managed so that in occupations with high ergonomic risk for corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
In this Master's Thesis they have identified the main ergonomic risks in construction, and they are classified by type of job and task. We have also selected the methods of evaluation of these hazards including load handling, painful positions, static loads and repetitive movements. In addition, we have described the remedial measures used in each type of position. Finally, we analyzed whether the approaches in safety and health plans are properly managed, so that corrective and preventive actions on tasks with high ergonomic risk are applied.
