dc.description.abstract [EN] For the Greater Food consists of an end of degree work in which the author makes an animated adaptation, with the use of the 2D animation technique, of the well-known piece of the Infernal Galop, commonly known as Can-can by Jacques Offenbach. It Will be shown then, in this memory, every part of the creative process regarding a production of this style, such as: the pre-production, which is divided in the phases of scriptwriting, concept art, character design and background design; the production of an animation and the use of the materials available for doing so and the post-production which includes the editing of the film, its assembly and the sound editing. The story takes place in the beginnings of the 19th century, in a small country mansion, where two small rodents with a terrible relationship, live door to door. Their discussions get the worst of them one night, in the middle of a high-status party, when both neighboors find each other in the middle of an incursion and the chaos explodes among the aristocrats attending the ball. It is tried to explore in this short, how music and video are both essential components in an animated feature; how the creativity of both fields favours the growth of the seventh art. A practice based in imagination and the inspiration we get thanks to the music, and that has already been used in animated long films such as Fantasia (Walt Dinsey Productions) or Allegro non Troppo (1976, Bruno Bozzetto), and somehow, in the silent movies of the 20s. Furthermore, we try to pray homage with this short film to the cartoon aesthetic which was highly popular in the 50s and 60s and has stayed, even now, as one of the most seen tv genres of the world. es_ES
