La ciudad del turista: el síndrome del parque de atracciones

Abstract

[ES] Desde una perspectiva distópica en que el turismo masivo se ha apoderado de la ciudad, el presente trabajo explora la creación de un sistema para la recuperación de la misma por parte del ciudadano, no sustituyendo, sino solapando el trazado de calles y edificios, o utilizando estos para una construcción espacial continua y elevada que incorpore tanto grupos residenciales como espacios públicos. Una extensa red de construcciones con espacios colgantes y colgados en que el suelo de la ciudad queda relegado a su nuevo propietario: el turista.

[EN] From a dystopic perspective where mass tourism has taken over the city, the present paper explores the creation of a system by which the citizen takes back the city, not by substituting, but rather overlapping the street and building layout, or by using them for a continuous spatial and tall construction that integrates both residential groups and public spaces. An extensive web of constructions with hanging and hung spaces where the urban ground now belongs to its new owner: the tourist.
