Abstract

[ES] Este trabajo presenta una serie de obras pictóricas figurativas de formato mediano realizadas con pintura al óleo donde observamos una paleta reducida de grises y ocres. Predomina por su detallismo y acercamiento a la fotografía. En todas las obras destacan varios personajes observando el paisaje en representación de la sociedad de la época. Su principal contenido reside en el ámbito de lo formal y que tiene como objetivo la investigación, contextualización y reinterpretación a través de la pintura de las fotografías antiguas, realizadas en los años 20, en un lugar en concreto (Sóller, Mallorca). Destaca por sus paisajes marinos, de puertos, playas y montañas.

Sus principales referentes se sitúan en el romanticismo tratando el tema del paisaje ideal, aunque con un estilo y tratamiento de la pintura mas cercano a la fotografía utilizando metodologías como las de Antonio López, Enrique Zabala y Pep Girbent. El objetivo de esta memoria es el de investigar y analizar a través de la teoría y la pintura la época, el lugar, sus habitantes y sus vidas, al mismo tiempo destacar y enfatizar la pureza, libertad y tranquilidad que transmite el paisaje.

[EN] This work presents a series of figurative pictorial works of medium format made with oil paint where we observe a reduced palette of grays and ochers. It predominates for its detail and approach to photography. In all the works there are several characters observing the landscape in representation of the society of the time. Its main content lies in the field of the formal and aims to research, contextualization and reinterpretation through the painting of old photographs, taken in the 20s, in a particular place (Soller, Mallorca). It stands out for its marine landscapes, ports, beaches and mountains.

His main references are located in romanticism, dealing with the theme of the ideal landscape, although with a style and treatment of painting closer to photography, using methodologies such as those of Antonio López, Enrique Zabala and Pep Girbent. The aim of this memory is to investigate and analyze through theory and painting the time, the place, its inhabitants and their lives, while highlighting and emphasizing the purity, freedom and tranquility that the landscape transmits.
