Ver lo invisible. Libro-caja de experimentos ópticos basada en el fenómeno de birrefringencia

[EN] This article explores the creative possibilities of polarised light and the phenomenon of birefringence, analysing their potential as tools for artistic experimentation. Through the materialisation of the artist's book Ver lo invisible, awarded in the young artist category at the II Premi Jerònima Galés Llibre d'artista, a proposal is presented in the format of a box of optical experiments, where the public is essential in the construction of the image and in the activation of the mechanisms of chromatic vision. It invites to question the limits between seeing and not seeing, projecting a sensorial and interactive experience that looks to expand the knowledge of the hidden forms in which matter manifests itself.

[ES] En este artículo se exploran las posibilidades creativas de la luz polarizada y el fenómeno de birrefringencia, analizando su potencial como herramientas para la creación artística. A través de la materialización del libro de artista Ver lo invisible, premiado en la categoría artista joven en el II Premi Jerònima Galés Llibre d artista, se presenta una propuesta en formato de caja de experimentos ópticos, donde el público es esencial en la construcción de la imagen y en la activación de los mecanismos de la visión cromática. Se invita a cuestionar los límites entre el ver y no ver, proyectando una experiencia sensorial e interactiva que trata de ampliar el conocimiento de las formas ocultas en las que se manifiesta la materia.
