[EN] The current treatment system consists of two facultative lagoons operating in series. These lagoons present a large number of deficiencies that cause them to operate inadequately, and therefore, they do not meet the physical, chemical, or biological parameters required by the country's government institutions. For this reason, a general analysis is being conducted of the system's physical and biological capacity to operate, if it were to operate under optimal conditions. Additionally, an action plan is being created to return the system to its ideal operating point, with the flow rate of current projects. In the second part of the project, the treatment system is being redesigned so that it can receive the current flow rate, plus the flow demand of the projects soon to be built and put into operation. This involves developing a plan and design and construction phases that can adequately meet the new flow demand, as well as the increases or excess flows generated during the winter season. Thus, achieving an acceptable and much more efficient technical solution that meets the standards required by the farm and functions properly. Last but not least, an operation and maintenance plan is generated under the implemented redesign conditions, where the technical staff fully understands the behavior of each plant system, its limits, daily functions, and what to do in the event of anomalies, thus ensuring that the treatment plant always operates under the most optimal operating conditions.
