Reinterpretación ilustrada "La caída ", de Albert Camús

Abstract

[ES] Este proyecto nace de la interpretación e ilustración de fragmentos de la obra literaria La Caída , de Albert Camus en forma de libro de artista. Una obra maestra del existencialismo, corriente filosófica nacida en el periodo de entreguerras. Se concibió para aportar una nueva visión creativa, y contemporánea de la ilustración editorial. Partiendo de esta base, surge el desarrollo de un libro-escultura, que, gracias a su carácter arquitectónico, representa su estructura textual. A través de la reconceptualización de la obra se pretende acercar la disciplina de la filosofía a las nuevas generaciones de artistas y fomentar la lectura de los grandes clásicos. De esta forma, el proyecto aspira al desarrollo de mentes creativas y de espíritu crítico.

[EN] This project originates from the interpretation and illustration of excerpts from the literary work "The Fall" by Albert Camus, in the form of an artist's book. A masterpiece of existentialism, a philosophical movement born in the interwar period. It was conceived to offer a new creative and contemporary perspective on editorial illustration. Based on this premise, the development of a book-sculpture emerges, which, thanks to its architectural character, represents its textual structure. Through the reconceptualization of the work, the aim is to bring the discipline of philosophy closer to new generations of artists and to encourage the reading of the great classics. In this way, the project aspires to the development of creative minds and a critical spirit.
