Análisis estructural del Centro Nacional de Arte y Cultura Georges Pompidou

Abstract

[ES] Este trabajo final de grado consiste en el análisis estructural del Centro Nacional de Arte y Cultura Georges Pompidou. Partiendo de un primer estudio del entorno del edificio, de su contexto histórico y de su construcción, así como de la trayectoria de los arquitectos encargados de diseñarlo, se describirán los aspectos arquitectónicos, constructivos y estructurales del mismo, para, posteriormente, tras la evaluación de cargas y el predimensionado, elaborar un modelo de cálculo que reproduzca el sistema estructural del edificio y que, tras el cálculo y posterior análisis de resultados, permita extraer conclusiones sobre el comportamiento de la estructura y la decisión de los autores de seleccionar este tipo de estructura en comparación con otras posibilidades.

[EN] This final project consists of the structural analysis of the Georges Pompidou National Center for Art and Culture. Starting from a first study of the environment of the building, its historical context and its construction, as well as the trajectory of the architects in charge of designing it, the building architectonic, constructive and structural aspects will be described, followed by the evaluation of the loads and the pre-dimensioning of the structural elements. Then, a model will be developed reproducing the structural system of the building which, after the calculation and subsequent analysis of results, will allow us to draw conclusions about the behaviour of the structure and the decision of the authors to select this type of structure versus other possibilities
