Invisibles. Un proyecto para personas sin hogar en Valencia.

Abstract

[ES] Según el último recuento realizado en el mes de octubre de 2019, se estima que existen alrededor de 1000 personas en situación de sin hogar en la ciudad de Valencia. Se encuentran a su disposición 200 plazas de atención que se reparten entre diferentes asociaciones. Sin embargo, todavía encontramos gran cantidad de personas que a lo largo del año pernoctan de forma continua u ocasional en la calle, ya sea por voluntad o por imposibilidad de acceder a los recursos de los que dispone la ciudad. La mayoría de estas personas se localizan en el distrito de Ciutat Vella, donde se realizará la intervención. Este proyecto quiere formalizarse como estrategia de intervención compartida entre el barrio y la atención a las personas sin hogar, entendiendo que no existe una sin la otra y proporcionando herramientas combinadas tanto de servicio y atención social como de regeneración urbana. Se pretende ofrecer, disgregados en forma de red y ocupando temporal o definitivamente solares desocupados, distintos servicios de atención básica a personas sin hogar que a su vez se abran para enriquecer al barrio, creando espacios integradores y participativos.

[EN] According to the last count carried out on the month of October 2019, it s considered that there are around 1000 people suffering from Homelessness in the city Valencia. For them, there are 200 attention places arranged divided between the Social welfare. However, there are still a significant number of people who spend the night outside continuously or occasionally throughout the year due to their will or to the impossibility of accessing the resources arranged by the city. Most of these people are located in Ciutat Vellas district, where the project will be placed. This project, wants to be formalized as a combined intervention strategy between the neighbourhood and the attention to the homeless, understanding that one couldn t exist without another. The key is to provide combined tools for social service as well as urban regeneration. We place, dispersed as a network which occupies abandoned plots, different basic attention services to homeless that at the same time open

themselves in order to enrich and improve the neighbourhood, creating integrative and participative spaces.
