STONED: TODO LO SÓLIDO SE DESVANECE EN LA IMAGEN

Abstract

[EN] Stoned: Tot sòlid s’esvaeix en la imatge , is the title of a theoretical and practical work that converges towards the materializatio n of sculpture and installation. The result of the research conducted, which explores issues around immersion, virtual reality and the image as a symbolic and dichotomous language. In this work the boundaries between seemingly opposing concepts fade. Reali ty and representation, the corporeal and the virtual worlds, ultimately, what separates the abstract and the concrete. The unpublished artistic production developed in this project, recuperates and updates the most primitive material, against the prevaili ng environment of simulation. And it does it from self - awareness and personal and collective introspection. The polychrome stone dialogues with the mirror's screen, creating a series of works that end up forming our first solo exhibition in a gallery of co ntemporary art. Indeed, Stoned becomes, in addition to the final master project, an exhibition project and, consequently, the closing of an artistic process beyond the studio and the concept of a work itself. [CA] Stoned: Tot sòlid s’esvaeix e n la imatge és el títol que dóna nom a un treball teòric i pràctic que convergeix vers la materialització d’una obra de caràcter escultòric i instal·latiu. El resultat de la investigació duta a terme, que indaga en problemàtiques entorn la immersió, la vir tualitat i la imatge, parteix d’un llenguatge simbòlic i dicotòmic. En aquest treball s’esvaeixen els límits entre conceptes aparentment contraposats, entre el real i el representat, el corpori i el virtual i, en definitiva, del que separa el concret de l’ abstracte. La producció artística inèdita desenvolupada en aquest projecte, enfront d'un entorn imperat per la simulació, recupera i actualitza la materialitat més primitiva. I ho fa des de l’au toconsciència i la introspecció personal i col·lectiva . La pe dra policromada dialoga amb la pantalla especular de l’espill, per donar lloc a un conjunt d’obres que acaben constituint la nostra primera exposició individual en una galeria d’art contemporani. En efecte, Stoned, esdevé, a més del propi projecte final de màster, un projecte expositiu i, conseqüentment, la cloenda del cercle d’un procés artístic més enllà del taller i la conceptualització d’una obra pròpia. Una base, a partir de la qual, seguir investigant i evolucionat el nostre quefer artístic.
