CSEM acquisitions in basaltic scenarios

Abstract

[EN] This thesis describes the CSEM method, based on basalt and also describes the characteristics and uses of the basalt. What is intended explain in this thesis is how the CSEM method work, what are its advantages, which can be do with this new method, how they work Electromagnetic Sounding for exploration of oil and gas , and finally applied to basalt, what happens with basalt when we change the magnetic permeability, dielectric constant and electrical conductivity when an analysis is performed with Matlab.

[IT] Questa tesi descrive il metodo CSEM basato in basalto, e descrive anche le caratteristiche e usi del basalto. Quello che si vuole spiegare attraverso questa tesi é come funziona il metodo CSEM, quali sono i suoi vantaggi, cosa si puó fare con questa metodologia di lavoro, come funziona il "Electromagnetic Sounding" per l'esplorazione di olio e gas, e finalmente applicato al basalto, cosa accade col basalto quando si cambia la permeabilitá magnetica, la costante dielettrica e la condutivitá elettrica facendo analisi con il software Matlab
