Centre cultural a Navajas: connectant l'estació

Abstract

[CA] Enclavada entre la serra Calderona i la serra d'Espadà, Navajas es caracteritza per ser un municipi envoltat d'un entorn natural immillorable que fan d'aquesta petita localitat un lloc idoni per potenciar el turisme d'interior. Es tracta mitjançant el present projecte, d'una oportunitat per enfortir les comunicacions dels pobles menuts amb les grans ciutats, a través de la línia ferroviària, incentivant també els seus negocis i la seua economia mitjançant el turisme d'interior, que es presenta com un dels punts forts de la localitat. Així, l'actuació pretén conservar el lloc integrant l'edifici com a final del recorregut d'arribada a l'estació, posant en valor l'antic edifici ferroviari. D'aquesta manera, després d'un anàlisi detingut en el qual s'ha estudiat com l'arribada a la parcel·la es realitza mitjançant un sistema de murs amb una inclinació pausada i suau del terreny, es conserva aquest sistema creant un jardí que ens condueix fins a l'edifici de l'antiga estació, que actuarà com a la biblioteca del municipi. La nova estació doncs, se situa a continuació d'aquest edifici, elevat mitjançant una plataforma que salva el desnivell existent entre la parcel·la i l'andana, posant-lo a nivell i materialitzant-se com una peça mínima i més baixa amb l'objectiu de no competir amb l'antiga estació. Per altra banda, i connectat amb l'estació, es crea un edifici cultural semi-enterrat que tindrà una relació més directa amb el carrer situat 3,5 metres més baix que la parcel·la en la qual s'actua, de manera que el programa estarà relacionat tant amb els visitats com amb els residents del poble de Navajas. En coherència amb el sistema de recorregut de l'estació, l'edifici es materialitza mitjançant murs que marquen els recorreguts alhora que delimiten les sales de les quals es composa. Aquest es relaciona amb l'andana separant-se d'ella per tal de crear un pati longitudinal que il·lumina però també proporciona vistes tant als viatgers com als usuaris del propi edifici. Finalment, en resposta al problema de desconnexió entre ambdues parts del poble detectats en l'anàlisi previ, es realitza un pas subterrani a continuació de l'edifici, de manera que es converteix en quasi un final de recorregut i també en una connexió directa des de l'altra banda del municipi.

[EN] Nestled between the Sierra Calderona and the Sierra de Espadán, Navajas is characterized by being a municipality surrounded by an unbeatable natural environment that makes this small town an ideal place to enhance inland tourism. It is through this project, an opportunity to strengthen the communications of small towns with large cities, through the railway line, also encouraging their businesses and their economy through the tourism of the interior, which is presented as one of the strengths of the town. Thus, the action aims to preserve the place by integrating the building as the end of the route arriving at the station, putting in value the old railway building. In this way, after a detected analysis in which it has been studied how the arrival to the plot is carried out by means of a system of walls with a gentle incline of the ground, this system is conserved creating a garden which leads us to the building of the old station, which will act as the library of the municipality. The new station, then, is located next to this building, elevated by means of a platform that saves the unevenness between the plot and the platform, putting it to level and materializing like a minimal and lower piece with the goal of not competing with the old station. On the other hand, and connected to the station, a semi-buried cultural building is created that will have a more direct relationship with the street located 3.5 meters lower than the plot in which it is actuated, so that The program will be related to both visitors and residents of the village of Navajas. In coherence with the system of route of the station, the building materializes by means of walls that mark the routes at the same time as they delimit the rooms of which it is composed. This one is related to the platform separating itself from her to create a longitudinal patio that illuminates but also provides views to the travelers as to the users of the own building. Finally, in response to the problem of disconnection between the two parts of the town detected in the previous analysis, an underground passage follows the building, so that it becomes almost an end of the route and also in a direct connection from on the other side of the village.
