Schulhaus Leutschenbach de Christian Kerez. Una escuela para la integración

[ES] El sistema educativo actual en Suiza se caracteriza por ser uno de los mejores a nivel mundial. El presente trabajo nace con el objetivo de conocer la arquitectura de los lugares de docencia del país helvético. En primer lugar, se ha centrado el análisis en la reciente escuela Leutschenbach en Zúrich proyectada por Christian Kerez. De ésta, llama particularmente la atención su distribución docente en vertical, pues generalmente esta tipología de edificios suele organizarse de manera horizontal. Tras el estudio de otras escuelas suizas anteriores, se observa que, lejos de tratarse de un hecho aislado, este tipo de organización ha sido empleada en varios edificios escolares. A pesar de ciertas diferencias debidas a hechos como el emplazamiento, todas ellas comparten aspectos como: la existencia de espacios de aprendizaje fuera de las aulas, la posesión de una peculiar estructura o la, ya mencionada, organización en vertical. Con este estudio, se analizan y comparan tres casos en Suiza, para, posteriormente, determinar la validez o no de estos modelos de escuela.

[EN] The current education system in Switzerland is characterized by being one of the best in the world. The present essay is done with the aim of knowing the architecture of the teaching places of the Swiss country. First, the analysis has been focused on the recent school Leutschenbach in Zurich. From this one, it particularly draws attention its vertical teaching distribution, because generally this typology of buildings is horizontally organized. After studying other former Swiss schools, it is detected that, far from being an isolated event, this type of organization has been used in different school buildings. Despite certain differences due to facts such as the location, all of them share aspects such as: the existence of learning spaces outside the classroom, the possession of a peculiar structure or the, already mentioned, vertical organization. With this study, three cases in Switzerland are analyzed and compared, to subsequently determine the validity or otherwise of these school models.
