Resumen
[EN] This paper critically evaluates the effectiveness of the Plan Irta, established by the Generalitat Valenciana in 2020, aimed at fostering architecture sustainability through knowledge transfer. Through an in-depth analysis of the plan's objectives, strategies, and outcomes, it assesses its impact on promoting innovative practices in architecture and advancing sustainability goals within the Valencian community. Drawing upon empirical data and the analysis of proposals selected and developped, the paper examines the strengths and limitations of the Irta Plan in facilitating collaboration between public administrations, academia, professionals, and industry, and the adoption of sustainable architectural solutions. By synthesizing key findings, the study offers insights into the role of public policies in driving innovation and sustainability in the built environment, while also providing recommendations for enhancing the effectiveness of future initiatives in this domain.
