Arte, investigación y sobreadaptación

Abstract

[EN] To consider that art practice is to research is the approach that current academics is considering progressively as something connatural to art praxis and theory. This article returns to this question to ponder on some aspects that condition it, from issues such as how the assumption of the word and its meaning is affected when associated with a kind of teaching like art education, or the influence of the Art System as a context in its conception and academization. It is also argued to what extend it is still possible an art practice that is not a mere appendix of a textual speech or if it is still possible to expect an actual questioning of that System from the neoacademy, considering its need of becoming part of it through the official art circuits or if it is possible that the assumption of the research concept as an academic form of art activity will become a drift of over adaptation where art is becoming an activity regulated by new academic dogmas.

[ES] Que la práctica del arte consiste en investigar es el planteamiento que la corriente académica viene considerando progresivamente como algo connatural a la praxis y la teoría artísticas. Este artículo retoma esta cuestión para reflexionar sobre algunos aspectos que la condicionan, desde cuestiones como de qué forma afecta la asunción de este término y de su concepto cuando se asocian a una enseñanza como es la del arte, o la influencia del contexto que representa el Sistema del arte en su concepción y academización. Se cuestiona, así mismo, hasta dónde es posible aún una práctica del arte que no resulte el mero apéndice de un discurso textual o si todavía es posible esperar de la neoacademia un verdadero cuestionamiento de ese Sistema, dada su necesidad de integrarse en los circuitos oficiales del arte o si puede ocurrir que la asunción del concepto de investigación como forma academizada de la actividad artística acabe resultando una deriva de sobreadaptación en la que el arte va transformándose en una actividad regulada según unos nuevos cánones academicistas.
