Interface desing for retired people to improve their experiencie in the country of travel

Abstract

Retired people in first world countries of Europe, such as Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands are currently enjoying good retirement benefits. One way to make use of these benefits is to travel. However, when traveling to other countries, these elderly are looking for measures and facilities, which provide them with a pleasant experience in terms of convenience and safety.

The aim of this project is to get a better understanding of altitudes and behaviors of elderly, when traveling as tourist, as well as to understand what services are available, and how these services can be improved and customized towards traveling for retired people.

The expected design solution is an interface, which aims to a pleasant and seamJess experience for retired travelers, when accessing services in the country of travel.
