HISTORIA INCOMPLETA DE UNA CELEBRACIÓN. UNA APROXIMACIÓN PICTÓRICA.

Abstract

[ES] Historia incompleta de una celebración pretende ser un proyecto artístico que a través de diferentes imágenes pictóricas genere un relato abierto en el que exista una tensión que aluda al espectador. Tomo el tema del retrato y la celebración para reflexionar acerca de la producción de imágenes a modo de recuerdo. Se trata de algo que se hizo suceder o de un momento que esta por desaparecer. Es un proyecto práctico acompañado de un desarrollo teórico. Es decir, parte de la práctica pictórica: de estudio y mural. En ambos ámbitos lo incompleto o la grieta que se abre entre lo representado y lo que sucede vertebra el desarrollo de la imagen: algo se esta preparando, algo esta sucediendo.

[EN] Incomplete story of a celebration aims to be an artistic project that through different pictorial images generates an open story in which there is a tension that alludes to the viewer. I take the subject of the portrait and the celebration to write about the production of images as a memory. It is about something that was made happen or about a moment that is about to disappear. It is a practical project accompanied by theoretical development. So, it takes place from the pictorial practice: studio and mural. In both areas, the incompleteness or the crack that opens between what is represented and what happens backs up the development of the image: something is preparing, something is happening.
