PROPUESTA DE METODOLOGÍAS ALTERNATIVAS A LA PLÁSTICA TRADICIONAL EN LA EDUCACIÓN PRIMARIAEXPERIENCIA DE CAMPO POR MEDIO DE TALLERES ARTÍSTICOS EXTRAESCOLARES

Abstract

Numerous studies demonstrate the importance that has a rich arts education during the school stage, and that importance will be reflected in the present of the students and in their future as an adult. This project represents a small research on alternatives ways of arts education in front of the traditional one to extract all the benefits that art can bring to the cognitive development of children, coming to the conclusion that to make it a productive subject it must cover three essential aspects in the educational and emotional development of students: use art to forge a strong personal well-being, to enhance the creativity, and to visually literate in the era of mass production of images.

Numerosos estudios demuestran la importancia que posee una educación rica en artes durante la etapa escolar, importancia que se reflejará tanto en el presente del alumno como en su futuro como adulto. En este trabajo se realiza una pequeña investigación sobre metodologías artísticas alternativas al modelo tradicional reglado de la educación primaria, apoyada en talleres artísticos, para aunar poco a poco los beneficios que el arte puede aportar al desarrollo cognitivo y emocional de los más pequeños, partiendo de la idea de que para que sea una asignatura productiva, la educación artística debe abarcar tres aspectos esenciales en el desarrollo educativo del alumnado: utilizar la práctica artística para forjar un fuerte bienestar personal, para potenciar la creatividad, y para alfabetizar visualmente en la era de la producción masiva de imágenes.
