The synchronic analysis of his architecture and painting, in their various stages, will confirm the synergy established between specific practices and an artistic thinking in permanent experimentation and dialogue with its contemporaneity. The objective is to make the importance of learning architectural drawing as a necessary tool for all its production, visible, and to demonstrate the influence it exerted on a painting which is characterized by the sharpness of contours, formal clarity and, above all, by a compositional balance, in which matter, texture and construction will confirm the logical coherence between the architect s painting and the painter s architecture, based on this aforementioned learning.

[ES] El legado de Joaquín Vaquero Palacios debe ser analizado atendiendo a su ejercicio simultáneo en los ámbitos de la arquitectura y del arte plástico -pintura y escultura-. Una relación dialógica entre disciplinas que se retroalimentaron con las influencias de unas experiencias vitales y artísticas impulsadas por su espíritu observador de viajero infatigable. El análisis sincrónico de su arquitectura y su pintura, en sus diversas etapas, confirmará la sinergia establecida entre las prácticas concretas y un pensamiento artístico en permanente experimentación y diálogo con su contemporaneidad. El objetivo será visibilizar la importancia del aprendizaje del dibujo arquitectónico como herramienta necesaria para toda su producción, y demostrar la influencia que éste ejerció en una pintura caracterizada, a partir de su aprendizaje, por la nitidez de contornos, la claridad formal y, sobre todo, por un equilibrio compositivo en el que materia, textura y construcción confirmarán la coherencia lógica entre la pintura del arquitecto y la arquitectura del pintor.
