Abstract

[ES] Pons és una exploració íntima del record, la pèrdua i la per- manència dels vincles familiars a través del llenguatge visual. El projec- te parteix d un arxiu fotogràfic domèstic per construir una peça artística que pretén esdevindre un homenatge al meu difunt avi i actuar com de resistència a l oblit. Mitjançant la selecció i reorganització d imatges, es traça un relat que reivindica la figura del protagonista, no només com a membre de la família, sinó com a individu complet i divers. El llibre es converteix en un espai per habitar la memòria, donar forma al dol i trobar en la magterialitat una manera de continuar dialogant amb qui no és. Es tracta d un llibre d artista concebut i elaborat com a projecte final del Màster en Producció Artística, aplicant els coneixements adquirits al llarg del curs en edició, direcció d art, narrativa visual i pràctica crea- tiva.

[EN] Pons is an intimate exploration of memory, loss and the persis- tence of family bonds trough visual lenguage. The project originates from domestic photographic archive to construct an artistic piece that aims to become both a tribute to my late grandfather and an act of resistance against oblivion. Though the selection and reorganization of images, a narrative is drawn that reclaims the figure of the protagonist not only as a family member, but as a complete indivisual, The book becomes a space to inhabit memory, to give shape to grief, and to find, in materiality, a way to continue dialoguing with those who are no lon- ger here. It s an artist s book concieved and produced as the final project of the Master s Degree in Artistic Production, applying the knowledge acqui- red throughout the course in editing, art direction, visual narrative, amb creative practice.
