Resumen
To assess the sustainability of municipal water utilities in Europe, a baseline assessment has been carried out within the European Research project TRUST (Transitions to the urban water services of tomorrow) for eleven cities and regions. Using the data collected, the Blue-City-Index for those cities and regions has been determined and the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg had a very good result. This article describes the baseline assessment regarding the sustainability of urban water cycle services, using the example of Hamburg.
