Coworking + Coliving en Soneja. Integración arquitectónica en el entorno rural

Abstract

[ES] Frente al problema de la despoblación rural, este proyecto propone una nueva forma de habitar y trabajar en comunidad desde el entorno natural de Soneja, en pleno valle del Palancia. A diferencia de los espacios de coworking típicos de ciudad, se plantea un edificio en contacto directo con el paisaje, con buenas vistas y una relación cercana con el entorno.

Además de acoger zonas de trabajo y vivienda, el edificio busca ser un espacio abierto, permeable y accesible para los habitantes del pueblo. Su ubicación, junto al parque municipal, permite continuar su recorrido a través de la parcela, generando zonas verdes, terrazas y espacios intermedios pensados para el encuentro.

El proyecto se adapta a la topografía del terreno aprovechando los bancales existentes, para reducir la excavación y encajar mejor en el paisaje. Se organiza en tres volúmenes conectados: uno de acceso, otro principal con coworking en planta baja y coliving en altura, y un volumen intermedio más bajo que une ambos. El uso de la madera como material principal aporta calidez a los espacios y favorece un ambiente de comunidad y colaboración.

[EN] In response to the issue of rural depopulation, this project proposes a new way of living and working in community from the natural environment of Soneja, in the heart of the Palancia valley. Unlike typical urban coworking spaces, the building is conceived in direct contact with the landscape, offering open views and a close relationship with its surroundings.

In addition to work and residential areas, the building aims to be an open, permeable, and accessible space for the people of the town. Its location, next to the municipal park, allows the continuation of its route through the site, creating green areas, terraces, and transitional spaces designed for gathering and interaction.

The project adapts to the site's topography by taking advantage of the existing agricultural terraces, reducing the need for excavation and allowing the architecture to better blend into the landscape. The complex is organized into three connected volumes: an access volume, a main body with coworking spaces on the ground floor and coliving units above, and a smaller intermediate volume that connects the two. The use of wood as the main material adds warmth to the spaces and promotes a sense of community and collaboration.
