Resumen

[EN] The paper presents the first results of a doctoral research project in Social Pedagogy. It is based on the analysis of twenty interviews with graduates and students with disabilities in Italy. The theme of university-to-work transition is explored in relation to the legislation and experiences of the interviewees. The data collected highlight the possibility of pursuing a degree and working, even in the presence of significant functional limitations. Although universities are able to support study, they are poorly connected to the working world. Job placement services remain underutilised and are not well known. The study suggests implementing qualitative research, with the participation and contribution of all stakeholders, to deepen the knowledge of the issues under investigation and integrate training proposals, balancing protection and promotion in the rights to study and work for all.
