ESTUDIO DE LA PINTURA DEL ALTAR MAYOR DE LA IGLESIA DE NUESTRA SEÑORA DEL CARMEN DE VALENCIA. CONTEXTUALIZACIÓN HISTORICO ARTÍSTICA, ESTADO DE CONSERVACIÓN Y PROPUESTA DE INTERVENCIÓN

Abstract

[EN] This present work has been based on the study of the mural painting of the church of Nuestra Señora del Carmen’s presbytery, based in street Alboraya 33, in the city of Valencia. This church is included within the monastery complex of Discalced Carmelite Fathers. For that, it has been necessary to know the condition of the painting through studies organoleptic and it has been proceeded to its study historic-artistic for the purpose of obtaining all backgrounds with the goal of understanding the actual status of the paintings are, besides to perform photographic documentation relevant, iconographic identification of the painting and the technique and influences, because we address an anonymous piece. With this study we expect to get the knowledge of the actual state of presbytery’s painting, and once specified its status and technique, we proceed to stablish an action plan for its conservation and restoration and an intervention propose in future interventions, as well.

[ES+ El presente trabajo que a continuación se expone ha sido basado en el estudio de la pintura mural del presbiterio de la iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Carmen, situado en la calle Alboraya nº 33 de la ciudad de Valencia, incluida en el complejo conventual de los Padres Carmelitas Descalzos. Para ello ha sido necesario conocer el estado de la pintura mediante estudios organolépticos y se procedió a su estudio histórico-artístico con el fin de obtener todos los antecedentes con el objetivo de comprender el estado actual en el que se encuentran las pinturas, además de realizar la documentación fotográfica pertinente, la identificación iconográfica de la pintura, la técnica e influencias, ya que se trata de una obra anónima. Con este estudio se pretende alcanzar el conocimiento del estado actual de las pinturas del presbiterio, y tras concretar su estado de conservación, y su técnica, se procedió a establecer un plan de actuación para su conservación y restauración, con el fin de tener presente estos estudios y la propuesta de intervención en futuras intervenciones.
