Intervención en las Escuelas Profesionales de San José Jesuitas. Edificio anexo al aulario y pabellón polivalente.

Abstract

[ES] La propuesta de proyecto trata de crear dos edificios e intervenir sobre el Edificio Central dentro del complejo educativo de las Escuelas Profesionales de San José - Jesuitas, que constituyen un exponente de la Arquitectura Moderna en la ciudad de Valencia y que han sido reconocidas en el registro de la Fundación Docomomo con el objetivo de documentar y conservar el Movimiento Moderno.

Se pretende por tanto generar un cuerpo de edificación exento y de grandes luces, que emerge desde la planta de sótano y alcanza una altura de dos plantas sobre rasante, para albergar una pista de balonmano, aunque podrá servir para desarrollar otros eventos no deportivos. Se conforma un equipamiento que sirve tanto al centro educativo como a la ciudad, que orbita alrededor del Edificio Central junto con el Auditorio y el edificio que albergaría la capilla. A su vez, este estará conectado en planta de sótano con dicho Edificio Central y con un bloque lineal de uso docente con planta de sótano y tres alturas, estando este último relacionado con el edificio del Aulario mediante corredores que conectan con espacios de comunicación vertical y permiten acceder a las diferentes plantas y recintos de cada uno de los edificios. Ambos edificios estarán integrados perfectamente en el entorno, respetando la tipología de las construcciones de alrededor.

Por último, en la intervención en el Edificio Central se pretende seguir el mismo razonamiento en el diseño de la distribución de los espacios que en el resto del proyecto, conectándolo en planta baja con el bloque de Administración y el Auditorio, y preservando espacios de interés como son la Sala de Conferencias o el aula AMPA

[EN] The project proposal tries to create two buildings and intervene on the Central Building within the Educational Complex of the Professional Schools of San José - Jesuitas, which constitute an exponent of Modern Architecture in the city of Valencia and which have been recognized in the registry of the Docomomo Foundation with the aim of documenting and conserving the Modern Movement.

Therefore, it is intended to generate a free-standing building with large spans, which emerges from the basement floor and reaches a height of two floors above ground, to contain a handball court, although it may be used to develop other non-sporting events. This building is formed that serves both the Educational Center and the city, which orbits around the Central Building together with the Auditorium and the building that would contain the Chapel. In turn, this will be connected in the basement with the Central Building and with a linear building for teaching use with a basement floor and three heights, the latter being related to the Classroom Building through corridors that connect with vertical communication spaces and allow access to the different floors and rooms of each of the buildings. Both buildings will be perfectly integrated into the environment, respecting the typology of the surrounding buildings.

Finally, the intervention in the Central Building is intended to follow the same reasoning in the design of the distribution of spaces as in the rest of the project, connecting it on the ground floor with the Administration Building and the Auditorium, and preserving spaces of interest such as the Conference Room or the AMPA classroom.
