Soluciones para el descanso no convencional: Diseño de una pieza de mobiliario de uso colectivo

Abstract

[ES] La decisión del desarrollo de este proyecto se basa en la reacción que se tiene como diseñador de responder y mejorar el bienestar humano frente a una realidad poco favorable de la generación en que vivimos. El descanso, y cómo se ha visto afectado por nuestras nuevas modalidades de vida, serán el eje central de esta investigación y posterior propuesta de producto. Mejorando la nueva relación que se guarda con esta actividad tan básica pero fácilmente modificada y poco priorizada frente a otras, en función de las actividades que elegimos o se nos exigen día a día. Cuando se trata de obtener descanso dentro de un estilo de vida volátil, rápido y muchas veces ocupado, se piensa en un producto que brinde flexibilidad y adaptabilidad de uso, sean cual sean las circunstancias en las cuales dicha actividad se desee realizar. Y es así que percibiendo los nuevos cambios, preferencias y necesidades, se propone el diseño de un mobiliario de descanso que responda a esto, y que brinde un equilibrio para las personas del mundo moderno sometidas a un ritmo rápido.

[EN] The decision of the development of this project is based on the reaction that we have as designers to respond and improve human wellbeing in the face of an unfavorable reality of the generation in which we live. Rest, and how it has been affected by our new ways of life, will be the central axis of this research and subsequent product proposal. Improving the new relationship that is kept with this activity so basic but easily modified and low prioritize compared to others, depending on the activities that we choose or are required from day to day. When it comes to obtaining rest within a volatile, fast and often busy lifestyle, we think of a product that offers flexibility and adaptability of use, whatever the circumstances in which this activity is desired. And that is how, perceiving the new changes, preferences and needs, we propose the design of a resting furniture that responds to this, and that provides a balance for the people of the modern world subjected to a rapid pace. In order to define the ambit of insertion of the new product within the world of rest furniture, an analysis of the behavior is carried out from the point of view of the market and trends, which will provide results and clear visions that also will serve as strategic guidelines of how the subsequent design should be directed.
