Estudio histórico-técnico de un jarro cerámico de época romana: Propuesta de intervención para su conservación y restauración

Abstract

[CA] El present Treball de Final de Grau analitza i proposa un pla d intervenció restaurativa per a millorar l actual estat de conservació d un pitxer de ceràmica d època romana trobat al jaciment de La Cargadora, situat a Olocau, València. Aquesta peça, actualment custodiada als fons del Museu de Prehistòria de València, constitueix un testimoni significatiu del patrimoni arqueològic de la regió. L estudi s ha estructurat en tres blocs principals. El primer presenta una contextualització històrica i cultural de la peça, abordant tant el jaciment de La Cargadora com el marc cultural romà, per tal de comprendre l entorn en què es va produir i utilitzar l objecte. El segon bloc avalua l estat de conservació del pitxer mitjançant una anàlisi detallada de les patologies presents, cosa que ha permés establir el seu estat actual i els factors que han afectat la seua integritat. A partir d aquest diagnòstic, s ha elaborat una proposta d intervenció orientada a la seua restauració i conservació preventiva, respectant els principis de sostenibilitat i mínima intervenció. Per últim, el tercer bloc exposa les conclusions derivades de l estudi, destacant la rellevància d aquesta peça dins del context arqueològic i les implicacions de la intervenció per a la seua preservació futura. Aquest treball contribueix al coneixement i conservació d aquest objecte arqueològic i estableix una metodologia d intervenció aplicable a la restauració de peces similars en altres contextos arqueològics.

[EN] This final degree Ppoject analyzes and proposes a restorative intervention plan to improve the current conservation state of a roman ceramic pitcher discovered in the archaeological site of La Cargadora , located in Olocau, Valencia. This piece, currently housed in the collections of the Museum of Prehistory of Valencia, represents a significant testimony to the archaeological heritage of the region. The study is structured into three main sections. The first provides a historical and cultural contextualization of the piece, addressing both the archaeological site of La Cargadora and the Roman cultural framework to understand the environment in which the object was produced and used. The second section assesses the pitcher s conservation state through a detailed analysis of its present pathologies, enabling the identification of its current condition and the factors affecting its integrity. Based on this diagnosis, a restoration and preventive conservation proposal has been designed, adhering to principles of sustainability and minimal intervention. Lastly, the third section presents the conclusions derived from the study, emphasizing the significance of this piece within the archaeological context and the implications of the intervention for its future preservation. This project contributes to the knowledge and conservation of this archaeological object and establishes an intervention methodology applicable to the restoration of similar pieces in other archaeological contexts.
