dc.description[EN]This Final Degree Project (FDP) examines the structural modification of a vehicle, assessing itsfeasibility from multiple perspectives. Such a modification entails a high degree of technical complexity, as it directly affects the vehicle’s main structure, stability, load-bearing capacity, and regulatory compliance. Consequently, the purpose of this project is to undertake study, design, technical justification, and legal validation of the modification of an industrial vehicle —specifically, a Renault T HD004 truck, category N3, for the installation of a PALFINGER PK23080 hydraulic crane. The intervention constitutes a major structural alteration involving chassis reinforcement, adaptation of the hydraulic system, and modification of the electrical and bodywork systems, in accordance with the requirements established by Royal Decree 866/2010 and the Vehicle Reform Manual issued by the Ministry of Industry. The project is structured into several stages: analysis of the initial condition of the vehicle, selection of the lifting equipment, assessment of loads and stresses on the chassis, and the design of a structural reinforcement through the addition of a U-profile, ensuring the strength, rigidity, and overall stability of the assembly. Comprehensive verification calculations and technical checks have been performed to confirm the feasibility and safety of the implemented system, followed by the Ministry of Transport test (MOT). The modification also incorporates an environmental evaluation based on the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology, demonstrating that upgrading an existing vehicle significantly reduces embedded emissions and energy consumption compared with the acquisition of a new one. Finally, a detailed technical and economic report has been prepared, encompassing materials, labor, and all costs associated with the modification. Furthermore, the project is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG´s) of the 2030 Agenda, fostering innovation, energy efficiency, and safety within the industrial context

El dispositivo está pensado para ser eficiente y adaptable a una amplia variedad de modelos de cascos, ofreciendo una solución que mejore significativamente la visibilidad del motociclista en condiciones adversas como la lluvia o la acumulación de suciedad. La propuesta busca contribuir a la seguridad y comodidad del conductor, incorporando un diseño innovador y materiales duraderos, capaces de resistir las exigencias de uso en cualquier entorno climático.es_ES
