MOERAKIS

Los enigmas y leyendas que giran en torno a las formaciones rocosas esféricas llamadas Moeraki, en alusión a la playa homónima donde se hallan, me inducen a indagar en su historia. Qué se sabe de estas formaciones líticas, si entrañan algún misterio, cuándo se formaron y qué cuentan las leyendas acerca de ellas, son mi inspiración para realizar un trabajo práctico desarrollando y destacando la plasticidad pictórica de estas esferas y su entorno, en cuanto a forma y color. ABSTRACT The enigmas and legends concerning spherical rocky formations called Moeraki, in allusion to the homonymous beach where they are, lead me to investigate its history. What is known about these lithic formations, if they conceal any mystery, when they were formed and what legends tell about them, are my inspiration to make a practical work developing and highlighting the pictorial plasticity of these spheres and their environment, regarding its shape and colour.
