Resumen
The modal analysis is used to predict the dynamic behavior of structures, it can be used to determinate the dynamic characteristics of mechanical systems as Eigenfrequencies, mode shapes, damping, etc. This thesis deals with the dynamical analysis of a printer cover using the Finite Element Method (FEM), looking towards its sound radiation. The theoretical methods of modal analysis are based in calculation programs based in finite elements. To achieve the aim of the thesis, the software COMSOL Multiphysics was used.
