Detección de siniestros en apicultura mediante procesado de imágenes satelitales en Google Earth Engine

Abstract

[ES] Las condiciones para definir si ha ocurrido un siniestro relacionado con la apicultura en España están fijadas por una Orden (APA/717/2021) del Ministerio de Agricultura, Pesca y Alimentación. Estas condiciones se basan en la comparación de una serie temporal de un índice de vegetación del año asegurado con la serie temporal histórica del mismo índice de ese lugar. La obtención de la serie histórica y actual de ese índice se puede realizar con las condiciones fijadas por el ministerio utilizando la plataforma de procesado en la nube de Google Earth Engine. La implementación de esta metodología permitirá saber de forma automática cuáles son las comarcas agrícolas que han sufrido un siniestro por sequía y por lo tanto, los apicultores que han asegurado su producción tendrán derecho a cobrar la indemnización correspondiente.

[EN] The conditions to define what has occurred in a beekeeping accident in Spain are set by an Order of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. These conditions are based on the comparison of the time series of a vegetation index of the insured year with the historical time series of that place. The historical and current series of this index can be obtained under the conditions established by the ministry using the Google Earth Engine cloud processing platform. The implementation of this methodology will allow knowing automatically which are the agricultural regions that have suffered an accident due to drought and therefore, the beekeepers who have insured their production will have the right to collect the corresponding compensation.

[CA] Les condicions per definir que ha passat un sinistre en apicultura a Espanya estan fixades per una Ordre del Ministeri d'Agricultura, Pesca i Alimentació. Aquestes condicions es basen en la comparació de la sèrie temporal d’un índex de vegetació de l’any assegurat amb la sèrie temporal històrica d’aquest lloc. L'obtenció de la sèrie històrica i actual d'aquest índex es pot fer amb les condicions fixades pel ministeri utilitzant la plataforma de processament al núvol de Google Earth Engine. La implementació d'aquesta metodologia permetrà saber automàticament quines són les comarques agrícoles que han patit un sinistre per sequera i per tant, els apicultors que han assegurat la seva producció tindran dret a cobrar la indemnització corresponent.
