Bienestar frente al mar

[ES] Ubicado entre el histórico barrio del Cabañal y la playa de la Malvarrosa, el proyecto busca integrarse en un entorno marcado por el mar y su riqueza cultural. La intervención responde a las condiciones climáticas de Valencia mediante estrategias bioclimáticas, aprovechando la orientación, la ventilación natural, y el control solar para mejorar la eficiencia energética. El elemento protagonista del proyecto es una gran cubierta, diseñada tanto como un hito arquitectónico distintivo como un sistema eficiente de regulación térmica y optimización de los espacios exteriores. Además, se integrarán al proyecto y rehabilitarán viviendas preexistentes del siglo XX, caracterizadas por la arquitectura tradicional del barrio.

[EN] Located between the historic Cabañal neighborhood and Malvarrosa Beach, the project seeks to integrate into an environment marked by the sea and its cultural richness. The project responds to Valencia's climatic conditions through bioclimatic strategies, taking advantage of orientation, natural ventilation, and solar control to improve energy efficiency. The central element of the project is a large deck, designed both as a distinctive architectural landmark and as an efficient system for thermal regulation and optimization of outdoor spaces. In addition, pre-existing 20th-century homes, characterized by the neighborhood's traditional architecture, will be integrated into the project and renovated.
