Proyectar con la naturaleza : el proyecto de la casa y jardín japonés

Desde principios delsiglo XX, arquitectos de la talla de Wright o Gropius han tomado los conceptos de la arquitectura residencial nipona como modelo a seguir en sus proyectos. Este estilo tan alejado de la tectonicidad y simetría occidental demuestra un profundo respeto por el medio natural siendo capaz de integrarlo magistralmente a través del jardín que acompaña a la vivienda. Este trabajo busca destacar aquellos elementos y mecanismos que favorecen esta simbiosis ya que pueden constituir una herramienta interesante en la resolución de proyectos futuros. Para ello se realizará un recorrido teórico a través de las tipologías y componentes de la casa y el jardín y en segundo lugar se analizará el proyecto de la Villa Imperial de Katsura.

Since the early twentieth century, architects like Wright or Gropius have taken the concepts of Japanese residential architecture as an example to follow in their designs. This style which is far away from tectonicity and classic symmetry shows a deep respect for the natural environment being able to integrate it masterfully through the garden that joins the dwelling. This research seeks to highlight the elements and mechanisms that favor this symbiosis, because they can be an interesting tool in the resolution of future projects. For that, a theoretical tour will be made through the typologies and components of the house and the garden and after that the Imperial Villa of Katsura will be analyzed.
