OPEN UPV: Centro de ponencias UPV

[ES] El presente TFM aborda la integración de espacios vinculados a la UPV en el centro histórico de la ciudad de Valencia, así como la adecuación urbanística de una serie de solares concatenados que en la actualidad se presentan como espacios perdidos de la ciudad. Para la revalorización de los solares tratados se establece en ellos un Centro de ponencias UPV, que se compone de un edificio residencial para ponentes, un segundo edificio en el que se llevan a cabo las ponencias y por último un edificio administrativo que sirva a todo el complejo. Además la creación de espacios de relación entre estos edificios fomenta la revalorización del casco antiguo tanto formalmente como socialmente, al introducir de nuevo tejido social en zonas que antes no tenían.

[EN] The present TFM aproaches the integration of spaces linked to the UPV in the historical center of the city of Valencia, as well as the urban adaptation of a series of concatenated sites that at present are presented as lost spaces of the city. For the revaluation of the treated solar plants, a UPV Lecture Center is established, which is composed of a residential building for lecturers, a second building in which the presentations are held and finally an administrative building that serves the whole complex. In addition, the creation of spaces of relationship between these buildings encourages the revaluation of the old town, both formally and socially, by introducing new social fabric into areas that were previously lacking.
