Abstract

[ES] El presente TFM aborda la aproximación de la UPV al centro histórico de la ciudad de Valencia, a través de espacios vinculados a la formación, así como la recuperación urbanística de una serie de solares concatenados que han desdibujado la trama de Velluters. El programa que se propone en la intervención de los solares es una Biblioteca y un Centro de investigación y formación UPV. El proyecto se desarrolla en un primer edificio unitario compuesto por la unión de cuatro volúmenes y un segundo edificio que permite llevar a cabo la investigación y formación gestionada por la UPV. Además se intenta trabajar y cuidar los espacios intermedios, generando todo el tejido social que el barrio necesita, recuperar la identidad del casco histórico y de la propia ciudad poniendo en valor los símbolos y patrimonio existente.

[EN] The present TFM works on the approximation of the UPV to the historical center of Valencia, through spaces linked to the formation, as well as the urban recovery of a series of concatenated lots that have blurred the Velluters plot. The program proposed in the intervention is a Library and a Research and Training Center UPV. The project is developed in a first unit building composed of the union of four volumes and a second building that allows to carry out the research and training managed by the UPV. In addition, I try to work and care for the intermediate spaces, generating all the social fabric that the neighborhood needs, recovering the identity of the historic center and of the own city, putting in value the existing symbols and patrimony.
