Despliegue y administración de una red basada en radioenlaces

Abstract

[ES] Este proyecto de fin de grado trata de sobre la administración y despliegue de una red con tecnología WiMax mediante comunicaciones por radioenlaces. Este despliegue se encuentra en la comarca del Alto Palancia cubriendo la necesidad de acceso a Internet de los vecinos, así como la futura ampliación la red a otras localidades colindantes. Este caso de estudio definido en un escenario real se trata de dar una alternativa a otras tecnologías como fibra óptica con un coste económico muy alto y donde estas inversiones tan sólo se realizan en grandes núcleos de población y obtener un gran beneficio, dejando a la población rural sin servicios de Internet. Además de ofrecer el servicio de Internet mediante su configuración, el proyecto se centra en aspectos como la seguridad, la gestión y monitorización de la red para que el servicio sea estable, fiable y seguro. Al final del proyecto se realiza un presupuesto con el coste de los materiales seleccionados con un análisis de los mismos y se valora el coste que puede conllevar el uso de la tecnología utilizada.

[EN] The following Final Degree Project is about the administration and deployment of a network with WiMax technology through radio link communications. This deployment, which is located in the Alto Palancia region, is covering the need for Internet access to the inhabitants of Castellón to the aim of expanding the network with other neighboring towns in the future. This case of study is included within a real scenario based on giving an alternative to other technologies, such as highly expensive optical fiber, where these investments are only made in the largest population nucleus so as to obtain a great benefit, thus leaving the rural population without internet services. In addition to offering the internet service through its configuration, the project focuses on aspects such as security, management and monitoring of the network so that the service is stable, reliable and secure. An estimated budget is drawn at the end of the project by evaluating the cost of the selected materials with a prior analysis of them and assessing the cost that can involve the use of the used technology.
