dc.description.abstract | EN This TFM exhibition project aims to deepen the analysis of gender identity as a bio-political construct of social control and, as a critical consequence, to initiate the plastic deactivation or alteration of its codes based on the dominant heteronormative discourse. In this work we propose to deconstruct all preconceived signs of identity, putting an end to the binary conception of politically assigned gender and generate (from a personal file) the production of multidisciplinary artistic work (plastic objects, video art). It is, therefore, an introspective drift between the contemporary subject and his particular vision of educational patterns and protocols, univocally assimilated as part of the social and political fabric, as well as a response to the heteronormative and patriarchal discourse, in a kind of duel based on subversion and transgression. Through a dialogue based on the poetic and non-instrumental use of the everyday object, nourished by repetitions, visual paradoxes and the inversion of established gender roles, the codes offered by the normative discourse itself are altered and a "twist of the wrist" is proposed from an autobiographical perspective. This project reflects a personal interest in art as a communicative and activist tool, capable of activating social awareness by means of demands and putting it into circulation, disseminating it. Through video-performance as a means of expression and the configuration of a personal archive in continuous process, the art-life binomial is reinforced. I am interested in the ephemeral quality of the action, the instant, the rest or trace it leaves in the space and the production of artistic, object and register work, which is generated from it. | es_ES |
| es_ES |
