Abstract

[EN] Located amongst a network of industrial buildings, characterised by individual volumes, opaque enclosures and pitched ceilings, the Footwear Technology Centre upholds the volume and geometry of the buildings, but incorporates its own contextual and spatial features. This way, the building is perceived as an additional element of the network, but with a different meaning.

[ES] Integrado en una trama de naves industriales, -caracterizadas por los volúmenes únicos, los cerramientos opacos y las cubiertas inclinadas-, el Centro Tecnológico del Calzado mantiene el volumen y la geometría de las naves pero invirtiendo sus características tipológicas y espaciales. Así, el edificio se entiende como un elemento más de la trama, pero con un significado distinto.
