El centro histórico de Oporto. Patrimonio mundial

[EN] At the last General Assembly of the World Heritage Committee, held in Mérida, Mexico, the Historic Centre of Porto was included in the list of World Heritage ensembles. The architect Álvaro Gómez-Ferrer, who presented the report submitted by Porto Municipal Corporation, makes some points about its historic, patrimonial and urbanistic value, putting special emphasis on the legal protection and management of the rehabilitation works.

[ES] En la última Asamblea General del Comité del Patrimonio Mundial, celebrada en Mérida, Méjico, fue incluído en la lista de Patrimonio Mundial el Centro Histórico de Oporto. El arquitecto Alvaro Gómez Ferrer, que informó el expediente presentado por la Cámara Municipal de Oporto, explica algunas conside­raciones sobre el valor histórico, patrimonial y urba­nístico, poniendo un énfasis especial en la protección jurídica y la gestión de la rehabilitación.
