Abstract

[EN] The architect Alfonso Jiménez presents the second part of the article published in the 4th edition of LOGGIA . Here he expands his opinions on the Restauro theory with reflections about industrial reproduction of artworks, the methodology used in interventions on masonry constructions and exclusions from the concepts of functionality and the artistic dimension of the intervention. Finally he analyses in depth the reach and influence of the concept of value in all its facets throughout the history of restoration.

[ES] El arquitecto Alfonso Jiménez nos presenta la segunda parte del artículo que publicó en el número 4 de LOG­GIA. A las opiniones vertidas entonces sobre la teoría del Restauro, añade sus reflexiones sobre la reprodu­cibilidad industrial de la obra de arte, la metodología de intervención en las obras de fábrica, las exclusiones de los conceptos de funcionalidad y dimensión artística de la intervención. En último lugar analiza en profundi­dad el alcance y la influencia que ha tenido el concepto de valor en todas sus facetas en el transcurso de la his­toria de la restauración.
